Britney Spears' "Femme Fatale" is a lifeless, dull album. It has no personality, no heart, and not one bit of Britney in it. It's almost as if the songs were thrown together without thinking about Britney's life or what she been through in the last few years. I don't want to hear about her going dancing again, I want to hear about her loss and triumph.
Britney Spears is a mother, an artist and dang good performer, but in this album you feel none of it. It's as if all creative control and music decisions were taken away from her.
Perhaps next time we will get a grown-up version of Britney that we actually want to listen to. As for this time, I've tuned out.
